ABOUT ME
My name is Breiana Hiett
I am a life-style photographer, student, daughter, fur-mother, dog loving, travel enthusiast, wine loving, creative, food obsessed, hippy child, who really has no shame.

Hiett’s Collective Photography for me represents that type of REAL connection we all crave. No white noise, no bull, just real life. We are all a collective part in this world and I am determined to capture as much of that amazing uniqueness as I can (along with an obscene amount of pictures of my dog, Miss Zola Boots).
The older I get the more I realize, yes, I am awkward and I love it because it catches people off guard (hehe), but my strength resides in real conversations, not small talk. Sadly many people are afraid of really being themselves, but as long as you have good respect and manners, be who you are! Thankfully the way I talk, evokes others to do just that, be themselves, talk about their passions, and what excites them! I kid you not, people will spill their hearts out to me and afterwards get extremely awkward because they’re slowly realizing that they just spent the past two hours telling their life story to a complete stranger and don’t know why. It can be strange when and where these conversations take place (like a job interview…) but I absolutely LOVE that I am a person people want to share their deepest secrets and biggest dreams with. It's surprisingly rare that people talk like that now a days, so when it does happen it's a very humbling experience that I find so much joy in!
And what a better way to use that gift of connecting to peoples true selves, than capturing it on camera?!
